About the position

At the facility in Häradsudden, Ragn-Sells works with sorting and handling various types of waste and materials to enable recycling and resource efficiency. In the role of environmental worker, you will be an important part of the daily operations with a focus on safe and efficient material handling. You will work with both excavators and wheel loaders in a dynamic environment where the pace is high at times. To thrive in the role, you need to appreciate taking responsibility, working independently, and having the ability to assess the workload to prioritize correctly.

Job responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

• Sort materials with an excavator/material handler based on size and material type (e.g., wood, plastic, and metal).
• Operate wheel loaders focusing on internal transport, loading, unloading, and dispatching.
• Ensure that the work is performed according to applicable safety and quality requirements.
• Actively contribute to the systematic improvement work by highlighting risks, incidents, and improvement opportunities.
• Use digital tools, apps, and business systems in daily work.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a vocational certificate and training certificate for wheel loaders and excavators or alternatively a truck license C2 for construction.
• Has at least two years of experience operating wheel loaders.
• Is confident in the machine and has a good understanding of its capacity and limitations.
• Is responsible, safety-conscious, and used to working independently.
• Thrives in an environment where a lot is happening and where you are expected to take initiative.
• Has basic IT skills and feels comfortable using mobile devices, apps, and business systems in the work.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in waste management or similar operations.
